This position supports the Bayport Polymers Plant in Pasadena, TX. Working in a multi-disciplinary, cross-functional environment, it carries responsibility for implementing and continuously improving the asset maintenance strategy. The position interacts with other technical groups on site (., Process Engineering, Maintenance, Operations and Capital Projects), LyondellBasell Technical Networks, suppliers and original equipment manufacturers (OEM) as-needed to improve asset availability and life cycle cost performance.

A Day in the Life

• Systematically develop, monitor and continuously improve an asset maintenance strategy that ensures the asset will function as required and realize value throughout its life cycle. Task types include :

o Predictive Maintenance or PdM (., vibration analysis, oil analysis, pressure-volume analysis)

o Preventive Maintenance or PM (., scheduled overhauls)

o Failure-finding (., proof-testing of Machinery protection systems)

o Corrective Maintenance (., replacement work instructions, repair plans)
