About Us:

Scarlet Oaks, located in Cincinnati, OH, is seeking experienced RN (Registered Nurse) professionals to join our exceptional team. Our Respiratory Unit is dedicated to providing top-notch care and fostering a supportive environment for both our staff and residents.

Primary Purpose of the RN (Registered Nurse) Position:

As an RN (Registered Nurse) at Scarlet Oaks, you will be accountable for the delivery of safe and therapeutic resident care from admission through discharge. You will collaborate with physicians, families, and other members of the multi-disciplinary health care team to ensure the best outcomes for our residents.

Responsibilities of the RN (Registered Nurse):

• Provide direct nursing care to residents in accordance with their plan of care, including medication administration, assessments, wound care, and documentation.

• Supervise the day-to-day nursing activities performed by Nursing Assistants.

• Monitor patients' conditions and notify physicians of any changes.

Mandatory Qualifications of the RN (Registered Nurse):

• Must hold a Nursing Degree from an accredited program or college/university.

• A current, unencumbered, active OH RN (Registered Nurse) license.

• Current CPR certification.

Skills and Qualities of the RN (Registered Nurse):

• Knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as state, federal, and regulatory requirements that pertain to long-term care.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and critical thinking abilities.

• Ability to deal tactfully with a team of inter-disciplinary professionals, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies, and the general public.

• Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
