Real Estate Associate Attorney

Direct Counsel is seeking a Real Estate Associate Attorney with 3–5 years of commercial real estate experience to join a top-tier national real estate practice.

Ideal candidates will have experience with commercial real estate and financing transactions, including mixed-use, office, multi-family, retail, hotel, and resort properties. Experience drafting and negotiating purchase and sale agreements, leases, loan documents, easements, CC&Rs, development agreements, and property management agreements is required. Experience in real estate development and joint ventures is a plus.

• Advise clients on commercial real estate and financing transactions

• Draft and negotiate transactional documents and agreements

• Collaborate with partners and clients on real estate projects

• Manage multiple matters efficiently and provide practical solutions

• JD from an ABA-approved law school

• Active bar membership in the relevant state(s) of practice (timely admission considered)

• 3–5 years of experience in commercial real estate law

• Excellent writing, communication, and interpersonal skills

• Strong analytical skills and ability to work in a team-oriented, client-focused environment

• Expected salary range: $260,000–$350,000 (dependent on experience and skills)
