Project Overview & Deliverables :
Timeline (12 Weeks) :
Focus Area / Deliverable
Weeks 1–2 Review geologic model, site visit, and data setup.
Weeks 3–5 Pit design, phasing, and volume estimation.
Weeks 6–8 : Haul route modeling and cost analysis.
Weeks 9–10 Cost-per-ton modeling and scenario testing.
Weeks 11–12 : Prepare final presentation and management summary.
Skills & Tools Applied :
ArcGIS Pro or AutoCAD, Excel, mine design software (Deswik or Surpac), cost modeling, haul route analysis, and technical presentation skills.
Project Learning Objectives : A clear, data-supported understanding of whether developing the new property would reduce overall $ / ton mined, and recommendations for next steps in evaluating or advancing the project.
