Business Development Rep & Estimator

G.A. Rogers, Central Oregon's top professional search firm, has an opening for an experienced business development rep & estimator in the building materials space. The ideal profile will be someone with 3+ years of experience in business development working in the construction materials space. This role is heavily focused on building and expanding relationships within the custom home building space in Oregon, Idaho, & Washington.

A strong applicant would additionally have a working knowledge of woodworking, job bidding and job engineering, be versed in the bid and fabrication process, but also be a dynamic go-getter who is willing to advocate, problem solve and facilitate exceptional customer experiences.

Responsibilities :

• Builder & designer outreach, engagement, advocacy and concierge service, both locally and out of region.
• Demonstrate exceptional organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast paced, often interrupted environment.
• Working knowledge of woodworking and related bidding software.
• Willingness to travel to develop relationships with builders beyond the Bend market to continue to grow the company's regional presence.
• Eventually becoming well versed and reliable in our proprietary bidding process and technologies.
