A dynamic opportunity is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a focus on the K-12 educational setting. This position offers a contract role for the current school year, providing essential speech and language support to students across various grade levels.
Key Qualifications and Experience :
- Possession of the Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC).
- Valid certification / license to practice as a School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Experience working with children and adolescents in a K-12 school environment.
- Strong assessment, diagnostic, and intervention skills tailored to a diverse student population.
- Ability to collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams.
Location :
This role is located in a public K-12 school setting in Fairfield, California.Responsibilities :
Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for students exhibiting communication challenges.Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for eligible students.Provide direct therapy services focusing on speech, expressive and receptive language, fluency, articulation, and social communication goals.Monitor student progress and adjust therapy plans accordingly.Work in partnership with teachers, counselors, and families to support student educational success.Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with state and federal regulations.Benefits :
