Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A dynamic opportunity is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a focus on the K-12 educational setting. This position offers a contract role for the current school year, providing essential speech and language support to students across various grade levels.

Key Qualifications and Experience :

  • Possession of the Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC).
  • Valid certification / license to practice as a School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Experience working with children and adolescents in a K-12 school environment.
  • Strong assessment, diagnostic, and intervention skills tailored to a diverse student population.
  • Ability to collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams.

Location :

  • This role is located in a public K-12 school setting in Fairfield, California.

    • Responsibilities :

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for students exhibiting communication challenges.
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for eligible students.
  • Provide direct therapy services focusing on speech, expressive and receptive language, fluency, articulation, and social communication goals.
  • Monitor student progress and adjust therapy plans accordingly.
  • Work in partnership with teachers, counselors, and families to support student educational success.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with state and federal regulations.
