We are seeking a seasoned Data Architect to join our dynamic AI Innovation team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, creating, deploying, and managing our company's data architecture. This role will involve a combination of strategic planning, detailed analysis, and technical expertise to ensure that our data systems are robust, reliable, and optimized for our needs.

The Data Architect will play a critical role in determining structural requirements for our systems, developing data models, and helping to define our data strategy. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data architecture, with specific experience building a Data Lake from scratch.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement strategic data plans to meet the needs of our company, including the design and implementation of databases and data analytics systems.
2. Work closely with team members to turn data into critical information and knowledge that can be used to make sound business decisions.
3. Provide technical leadership and support for our data technology systems, including ETL processes, CI/CD pipelines, and database management.
4. Design and oversee the implementation of data models, database designs, data access, and data table maintenance codes.
5. Resolve complex data-related issues, including large-scale data migrations, transformation, and processing of structured and unstructured data.
6. Ensure data strategies and architectures are in regulatory compliance.
7. Develop best practices for data coding to ensure quality and accuracy.
8. Collaborate with system architects, software developers, and other stakeholders to ensure data solutions are robust, scalable, and optimized for performance.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
2. A minimum of 7 years of experience in a data architect role.
3. Proven experience with Databricks and Terraform.
4. Strong knowledge of database structure systems and data mining.
5. Extensive experience with ETL processes, CI/CD pipelines, and other data processing technologies.
6. Proficiency in Python and SQL.
7. Excellent understanding of data modeling techniques and principles with a track record of holding and delivering data architecture.
8. Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
9. Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
10. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
