Lifeguard (age 16+)

Duties & Responsibilities :

Ø Maintains a courteous, cooperative, and professional environment for patrons, co-workers, and general public

Ø Follows established guidelines for grooming, uniform, and operating policies and procedures outlined in the General Handbook and Department SOPs and maintain those guidelines throughout the shift.

Ø Maintains cleanliness of the work areas in the department.

Ø Ensures proper ride operating procedures and guest loading / unloading positions.

Ø Participates in biweekly CPR and skills check offs with specified team members.

Ø Participates in weekly in-service training programs.

Ø Maintains lifeguard licensure with Ellis and Associates ILTP through provided means.

Ø Performs job functions within all policies and procedures as noted in the handbooks.

Ø Ensures proper use of all safety equipment and personal protective equipment.

Ø Communicates with Operations Supervisor regarding daily operations in the department.

• Performs other duties as required.

200 yard swim, 2 minute tread without use of hands, retrieve 10 pound brick using a feet first service dive from a maximum depth of 10 feet
