Position Overview

The Office of Inspector General is seeking to hire a Data Analyst to perform highly confidential and sophisticated data analysis for the Office of Inspector General (OIG).  This position designs, conducts, coordinates, and evaluates statistical analysis of data and formulates reporting requirements for data generated by the OIG staff.  The data analyst will perform short-term projects for other OIG data collection processes.

Essential Functions

• Serves as Data Analyst, planning, assigning, and monitoring the Office of Inspector General (OIG) Incident Tracking System.
• Reviews data entry work through an evaluation process.
• Serves as a working supervisor.
• Serves as liaison between the Department of Innovation and Technology (DoIT) and office staff for technology needs.
• Designs and conducts statistical analysis.
• Performs other duties as assigned or required which are reasonably within the scope of duties enumerated above.
