RN - Observation Unit

Job Details :

Work 3x12 hour night shifts from 5 : 00 PM to 5 : 30 AM Monday through Thursday

No weekend requirements and facility is closed on holidays

No on-call responsibilities or overtime required

23-hour observation unit for ambulatory surgery patients staying overnight

Maintain 3 : 1 patient ratio with daily census of 5 patients

Work with 2 nurses and PCT on night shift team

Float within scope to sister facilities including downtown, Main, and West Campus

Required certifications : ACLS, PALS, BLS

South Carolina RN license or compact state license required (must be active before start)

Minimum 1 year of nursing experience required

Travel nursing experience required, first-time travelers not accepted

Previous charge experience and trauma level experience preferred

Epic charting system experience required

Care for both adult and pediatric patients

Dress code requires royal or navy blue scrubs

12-hour orientation over 3 days at work site

Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks but does not allow call outs

Complete non-billable modules averaging 4 hours pre-start
