[job_card.job_description]Strong IT skills in infrastructure, applications & hardening systems Experience in implementing changes and security controls in a global framework. Knowledge and experience with installing / compiling vendor and open-source software. Knowledge and experience with application / infrastructure deployment and support in one or more of the major cloud environments Experience with script writing, PowerShell, Ansible, Python or other automation / scripting too Experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7 / 8 / 9 RHCSA a plus
High Performance Computing (HPC) Systems Engineer
Basic Qualifications :
- A minimum of 3 years of hands-on Linux experience ( RHEL, CentOS) and production infrastructure support ( networking, storage, monitoring, compute, installation, configuration, maintenance, upgrade, retirement)
- Experience in system administration and technical support ( installation, configuration, maintenance, upgrade, retirement, problem resolution)
- Experience in HPC technologies such as parallel / distributed files systems ( Lustre, GPFS), high speed interconnect fabrics ( Infiniband, Omni-Path), and HPC batch scheduling software suites ( PBSPro, SLURM)
- Experience with Panasas / Vdura storage support
- Proficiency in technical writing and documentation of solutions
- Demonstrated ability to work seamlessly across organization boundaries
- Self-starter with the ability to spot potential for process improvement
- Capable of building effective relationships with teams and subject matter experts
- Security + certification required
