Material Handler

A growing and profitable manufacturer of aerospace parts in Simi Valley is looking to hire a warehouse associate for their 1st shift.

The company offers extensive benefits (medical / dental / vision, 401K plan, profit sharing, paid time off, and more).

Location : Simi Valley Salary : $22 / hr Schedule : 7 : 00 am - 3 : 30 pm

Responsibilities :

  • Package parts for shipping
  • Build up, break down, and assemble pallet shipments
  • Print out and attach labels
  • Verifies the accuracy of outgoing shipments and orders
  • Prepare shipments with customs paperwork and any other documentation that may be required as necessary
  • Experience using UPS, FedEx, and other Shipping Company computer portals is a plus
  • May utilize hand trucks, forklifts, hoists, or other handling equipment to move material to and from within the facility.

Requirements :

  • Experience in warehouse operations (shipping / receiving), forklift certification, and proficiency with Inventory Management Systems
  • Detail-oriented, quick learner, dedicated, and punctual
  • Ambitious, organized, proactive individual who can manage their scheduled tasks
  • Experience dealing with International paperwork and shipments
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Word, and Excel (preferred)
  • Have good communication skills and be able to follow written and verbal instructions
  • Have a good understanding of all shipping procedures
  • Must be ITAR compliant (U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident Card Holder)
