Deconstruction Technician / Material Handler

Location : Chandler, AZ 85226 Pay Rate : $16.50 - $18.00 per hour Schedule : Monday to Friday, 6 : 30 AM - 3 : 30 PM or 6 : 00 AM - 5 : 00 PM

Job Overview : We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Deconstruction Technician / Material Handler to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for taking apart and organizing various electronic components, ensuring they are ready for resale or repair. This entry-level position requires basic computer knowledge and a willingness to learn.

Key Responsibilities :

• Deconstruct and break apart electronic units using hand tools.
• Pull apart components, including monitors, keyboards, and cables.
• Utilize scanners to track and sort units in the PreSort department.
• Assemble boxes for shipping and prepare items for clients.
• Clean and precondition units, including peeling off stickers and wiping down surfaces.
• Test Apple electronics, servers, laptops, and hard drives to ensure functionality.
• Navigate computer interfaces to verify unit details and data.
• Handle material receiving and organize products into the correct boxes.
• Perform light data entry and check in products and returns.
• Assign units to different customers based on their specifications.
