A company is looking for a Quality Control Underwriter.
Key Responsibilities
Perform Prefunding QC loan audits on assigned loans to ensure quality and risk standards
Conduct risk evaluations and complex analyses on various loan products
Document findings and communicate discrepancies to management for corrective action
Required Qualifications and Skills
Bachelor's degree and / or equivalent experience in mortgage underwriting
5+ years of experience in underwriting mortgage loans
Knowledge of agency and investor guidelines
DE, LAPP, and SAR certifications preferred
Experience with Encompass LOS system is a plus
