Position : Dog Daycare & Boarding Assistant

Location : The Dog Chateau, Glenville, NY

Job Type : Part-time or Full-time

Expected Hours : 1540 hours per week

Salary Range : $16$19 per hour

Key Responsibilities :

• Supervise and interact with dogs during play and rest to ensure a safe and positive environment.
• Lead multiple 45-minute pack walks each day across our scenic, 11-fenced-in acres to promote exercise and socialization.
• To support their well-being and development, engage dogs in daily enrichment activities, such as structured play, sensory experiences, and training exercises.
• Monitor each dogs behavior and well-being, addressing any issues promptly and compassionately.
• Clean and maintain all areas of the facility, including play areas, boarding suites, and shared spaces, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and sanitation are met throughout each day
• Manage laundry, dishes, and waste removal to keep the facility in top condition.
• Communicate with pet owners, providing updates and ensuring a positive client experience.
• Assist with feeding, exercising, and administering primary care for each dog.
• Support a smooth check-in and check-out process for daycare and boarding clients.
• Work as part of a team, supporting other team members as needed and adhering to The Dog Chateaus policies and procedures
