Were looking for a licensed Attorney (JD) or Associate with 27 years of experience at a corporate or commercial law firm, someone who has worked extensively with contracts, MSAs, BAAs, and other tech-related legal agreements. The ideal candidate is excited to pivot out of traditional practice and leverage their legal training in a fast-growing LegalTech / AI startup environment.
In this role, youll partner with prospective clients across Sales, Account Management, and Customer Success, bringing legal credibility and subject-matter expertise to product demos, discovery calls, and presentations. Youll help translate complex legal workflows into clear product value, influence buying decisions, and play a direct role in driving revenue and market adoption. This is a unique opportunity to apply your legal background in a high-impact, client-facing, business-driven role, without the billable hours.
Responsibilities
- Provide legal expertise and credibility on client calls, demos, webinars, and during pre- and post-sale support.
- Guide enterprise in-house legal teams through trial periods to help accelerate deal closures.
- Represent the company at industry events and conferences as a subject-matter expert.
- Work with external legal contractors to build and implement contract playbooks using client templates and historical agreements.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product, sales, marketing, and customer success teams to shape legal solutions that drive revenue and adoption.
