Senior Architectural Inspector Position Overview
KEITH is seeking a Senior Architectural Inspector to provide oversight on a $300M project at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL). The successful candidate will serve as the primary field representative ensuring that all architectural and structural construction activities are performed in accordance with project plans, specifications, building codes, and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities :
- Inspect architectural and structural elements of major airport facilities including terminals, concourses, support buildings, and passenger amenities.
- Review shop drawings, material submittals, and contractor work for compliance with design intent.
- Monitor quality of workmanship, ensuring construction activities meet or exceed project specifications, FAA, and local building codes.
- Document deficiencies and coordinate corrective actions with contractors and design professionals.
- Prepare detailed daily reports, photo documentation, and inspection logs.
- Participate in progress meetings and advise project leadership on field conditions, schedule impacts, and potential risks.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including MEP inspectors, safety personnel, and project managers.
