As a Security Guard - Access Control in Deer Park, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical / Petrochemical, and more. As an Access Control professional with Allied Universal, you will play a vital role in monitoring entrances and exits at a chemical or petrochemical location. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols, managing badge access, and maintaining a strong presence to help to deter security-related incidents. You will also deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication to all personnel and visitors. This is a driving post and requires a valid driver's license, offering an engaging environment where teamwork and integrity are valued every day.

What You'll Do :

Control access to the chemical and petrochemical location by verifying credentials and monitoring entry and exit points for authorized personnel and visitors.

Carry out security-related procedures and follow site-specific policies to maintain a secure environment.

Assist with emergency response activities as required and interact with emergency personnel when needed.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting events as necessary.

Conduct regular and random patrols around the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and report any observed irregularities.

Provide customer service by assisting employees, visitors, and contractors with access and information as needed.

Monitor surveillance equipment and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements :

A valid driver's license from the job state is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

A Transportation Worker Identification Credential issued by TSA is required.

Customer service experience is preferred.

Experience with access control and / or badge systems is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
