Responsibilities

Wekiva Springs Center, located in Jacksonville Florida, has an immediate opening for a cook. Cooks are responsible for the preparation of breakfast, lunch, and dinner for the patients and facility staff according to the approved menu cycle. Overall cleanliness of the kitchen, cafeteria area, dishes, and storage areas are the shared responsibility of all dietary staff. This position requires a high school diploma and a minimum of 6 months commercial experience and or training. This position also requires passing the serve safe certification within 6 months of hire. The physical demands require lifting 25pounds regularly and up to 75 pounds on occasion. In addition, this position requires long hours on your feet as well as bending, stooping, squatting, walking, and occasionally crawling.
