The department serves a variety of students including non-majors and non-traditional students.

Job Description : Full-Time, Non-Tenure Track Teaching Position in Film and Media Studies

The Department of Media, Art and Design at UMKC is seeking applicants for a full-time, non-tenure track teaching position in Film and Media Studies, starting August 2025.

Responsibilities :

• Teach introductory-level undergraduate courses in Film Studies, Film Theory, and World Cinema.
• Reconceptualize courses using their own approaches to content and pedagogy.
• Develop new courses in their area of specialization.
