Position Summary :

The person in this role will support the warehouse / stockroom and be responsible for inventory records including counting storing records comparison and rotating stock in the warehouse or stockroom daily.

Responsibilities :

  • Stocks and issues materials or supplies.
  • Able to handle pressure smoothly and productively.
  • Handle unexpected challenges with a positive outlook.

Minimum Qualifications :

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Less than 2 years general knowledge of warehouse / stockroom environment.
  • Must have basic math skills read pick lists data printouts bills of material and other documents. Accuracy of data entry accounts and record keeping is essential.
  • General knowledge of warehouse / stockroom procedures.
  • Must be computer literate. Intermediate a plus .
  • Must be detail-oriented with good mathematical abilities.
  • Must be able to bend and lift 40 lbs.
  • Must have ability to work as a team member to achieve the companys quality and production standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required to work with production employees and managers.
  • Strong organization skills self-starter with initiative and ability to work with minimal
  • Must be flexible with overtime and weekends as necessary.
  • Attendance and punctuality at work are essential functions of this position .
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.

    • Preferred Skills :

  • Previous Warehouse Experience in a Military Commercial or Medical environment .
  • Operate Manual and Electric Power Pallet
  • Power tool knowledge (Rotating saw hand saw hammer drills) .

    • Working Conditions :

  • Ability to stand for long periods of time .
  • Ability to safely move about in a variety of work environments from office to manufacturing floor and other .
  • Ability to remain on a manufacturing shop floor for extended periods while meeting specified safety requirements (i.e. vision protection foot / toe protection and others as appropriate) .
  • Detail oriented - good vision is necessary to make decisions on the acceptability of product .
