Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for a contract covering a maternity leave from January through early April. This role is based onsite in an elementary school setting serving K-5 students in Fort Worth, TX.
Key Responsibilities :
- Provide speech and language therapy services to approximately 48 students across two campuses, with the majority at Old Settlers Elementary and part-time at Southridge Elementary.
- Deliver individualized and group therapy sessions tailored to student needs, ensuring compliance with district and state guidelines.
- Manage caseload efficiently and maintain thorough documentation of student progress.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student development.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to intervention planning.
Qualifications and Experience :
Active State License as a Speech-Language Pathologist.Preference for candidates holding the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).Candidates in their Clinical Fellowship (CF) year will only be considered if supervision arrangements are secured prior to starting, as district supervision is unavailable.Experience working with elementary-aged children in a school setting is highly desirable.Strong organizational and communication skills.Location :
