Description - Your Role

• Conduct routine and specialized clinical lab tests including chemistry, hematology, immunology, and more, following standard protocols.
• Evaluate test outcomes for precision, address discrepancies, and execute preventative maintenance and calibration on diagnostic equipment.
• Assist in the collection of specimens and prepare samples for analysis as required.
• Keep meticulous records of all procedures, mentor new staff or interns, and help maintain lab quality standards.
• Ensure a clean and secure workplace, adhering to all regulatory and accreditation guidelines.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or a related allied health field, supplemented with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) is to be obtained within one year of hire.
• Maintain active certification throughout employment.
