About the Role

The Company is seeking a VP of Portfolio Management to take on a strategic leadership role with a focus on specific product lines. The successful candidate will be responsible for the strategic ownership, profitability, and growth of these product lines, ensuring alignment with the overall packaging strategy. This role demands a business-builder orientation, with a strong emphasis on market leadership, product lifecycle management, and driving growth and profitability. The VP will be expected to lead a team of Product Managers and Product Marketing Strategists, fostering strong cross-functional partnerships to achieve market responsiveness and business impact. Key responsibilities include continuous market monitoring, guiding the full product lifecycle, driving revenue growth, and maintaining accountability for financial performance. Applicants for the VP of Portfolio Management position at the company should have a minimum of 10 years' experience in product management, operations, or business leadership, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role. The role requires a candidate with strong commercial and technical acumen, particularly in the areas of packaging machinery, automation, or industrial systems. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in strategic thinking, lifecycle management, and operational discipline in dynamic markets. Strategic leadership, the ability to drive results through cross-functional partnerships, and a commitment to a people-first, market-driven approach are essential. The role also involves a significant amount of travel, both domestic and international, and the candidate should be comfortable with a high level of ambiguity and be adept at building structure in complex, matrixed organizations.
