Prepress File Prep Specialist

Overview :

AlphaGraphics South Charlotte is looking for a detail-driven individual to join our team as a Prepress File Prep Specialist . While this is not a graphic design or inherently creative role, it is a critical behind-the-scenes position that handles customer files and ensures documents are properly formatted, proofed, and are print-ready to accurately run on our machines. If you love working with digital files, assisting precise workflows, and being part of a team, this job is for you.

Key Responsibilities :

• Review incoming artwork and verify print readiness (resolution, bleed, color mode, sizing, fonts, etc.)
• Make minor technical adjustments to meet production standards— not creative design changes
• Prepare and organize files for production team
• Communicate with account managers about missing assets or inconsistencies
• Maintain file structure, naming conventions, and data accuracy within our workflow system
• Perform quality control on proofs prior to production

Qualifications :

Comfortable with repetitive, process-based tasks
