Urgent Hiring: Retina Surgeon

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Retina Surgeon to join our growing ophthalmology team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and treating diseases and conditions affecting the retina and vitreous, including macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, and retinal detachment.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat retinal and vitreous diseases.
• Perform retinal surgeries and laser procedures with precision.
• Administer intravitreal injections and other therapeutic treatments.
• Interpret diagnostic imaging such as OCT, fluorescein angiography, and ocular ultrasound.
• Create and implement customized treatment plans for each patient.
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatment options, and recovery.
• Collaborate with physicians, optometrists, and clinical staff.
• Maintain complete and accurate patient medical records.
• Stay up to date with new techniques and advancements in retinal care.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Ophthalmology.
• Completion of a Retina or Vitreoretinal Surgery Fellowship.
• Active and unrestricted medical license (or eligibility).
• Strong diagnostic and surgical skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Commitment to quality patient care and attention to detail.

Schedule

• Monday to Friday
