Shipping Coordinator

Job Description

Our client in the Elkridge, MD area is looking for a Shipping Coordinator who is dependable and a team-player to join their organization immediately! Location : Elkridge, MD

Pay : $40k-$50k

Schedule : Monday-Friday

Duties and Responsibilities :

• Negotiate rates and manage carriers for optimal freight solutions and timely customer returns.
• Provide estimates, arrange pick-ups, oversee inbound freight, and manage claims for damaged or missing shipments.
• Print and distribute production paperwork, update production boards, and track backorders daily.
• Record key performance indicators and update relevant charts to monitor operational efficiency.
• Import daily shipment data into Epicor for invoicing and maintain accurate freight cost records.

Requirements :

• Must have experience with ERP for managing shipments and invoicing processes.
• Highly organized and adept at multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment.
• Domestic and international shipping experience is highly desired.
• Previous shipping experience required.
