Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Journeyperson Electrician (Apprentice Electrician with adequate experience will be considered) to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in electrical systems, including both commercial and industrial environments. This role requires proficiency in reading blueprints and schematics, as well as the ability to work with high and low voltage systems. The Journeyperson Electrician will be responsible for installing pumps and controls, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems, troubleshooting and working on control panels for pump systems while adhering to safety standards and regulations. Will be operating and working out of a crane truck. CDL is not required. Crane truck operation experience is a plus.
Responsibilities of the Job Title include, but are not limited to:
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial and industrial settings.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine layout of electrical systems.
- Utilize hand tools and testing equipment such as voltmeters and ohmmeters to troubleshoot electrical issues.
- Ensure compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local regulations during all work performed.
- Conduct inspections of electrical systems to identify potential hazards or necessary repairs.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople to complete projects efficiently and safely.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to apprentices or less experienced electricians when necessary.
