[job_card.job_description]Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including responding appropriately to emergencies as needed. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting a secure environment for staff, patients, and visitors. Conduct regular and random patrols in and around the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns. Monitor and report any unusual or suspicious behavior, escalating issues according to established protocols. Assist with access control procedures, including verifying identification and directing visitors or staff as appropriate. Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and any security-related observations. Work collaboratively with healthcare staff and Allied Universal team members to support the overall security-related needs of the location. A valid New York State Security Guard License is required. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
