Network Security Engineer

Qualifications : Required :

• X-X years of experience in networking, with a focus on vulnerability and threat management.
• Proficiency with vulnerability scanning tools, particularly Nessus and Qualys.
• Strong understanding of network protocols, architecture, and technologies.
• Experience remediating vulnerabilities on Cisco network equipment (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls).
• Ability to read and interpret CVSS scores, threat intelligence, and vulnerability advisories.
• Excellent communication skills to convey complex security findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred :

• Cisco certification (e.g., CCNA Security, CCNP Security).
• Experience with other security tools (e.g., Splunk, Tenable, Rapid7, or similar).
• Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) for automation.
• Experience with ITIL processes (Incident, Change, Problem Management).
