Required:
- Conduct regular vulnerability scans using tools such as Nessus and Qualys.
- Analyze scan results, validate findings, and prioritize vulnerabilities based on risk.
- Collaborate with network and infrastructure teams to plan and implement remediation strategies.
- Provide subject matter expertise on vulnerability management best practices and tools.
- Create detailed reports and metrics on vulnerability trends, remediation status, and overall risk posture.
- Participate in security audits and compliance initiatives (e.g., NIST, PCI-DSS, HIPAA, ISO XXX01).
- Stay up to date on the latest vulnerabilities, exploits, and security technologies.
Required:
- X-X years of experience in networking, with a focus on vulnerability and threat management.
- Proficiency with vulnerability scanning tools, particularly Nessus and Qualys.
- Strong understanding of network protocols, architecture, and technologies.
- Experience remediating vulnerabilities on Cisco network equipment (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls).
- Ability to read and interpret CVSS scores, threat intelligence, and vulnerability advisories.
- Excellent communication skills to convey complex security findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Cisco certification (e.g., CCNA Security, CCNP Security).
- Experience with other security tools (e.g., Splunk, Tenable, Rapid7, or similar).
- Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) for automation.
- Experience with ITIL processes (Incident, Change, Problem Management).
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across technical and non-technical teams.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Customer-focused mindset with an emphasis on reliability and service excellence.
