Pay Rate: $32.25/hour
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday | 8-Hour Shifts | In-Person

What You’ll Do:
As a Case Worker, your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):

• 
  Conducting in-home visits, safety assessments, and risk evaluations
  
• 
  Investigating allegations of abuse and neglect
  
• 
  Implementing safety plans to protect children and families
  
• 
  Preparing court reports and offering professional recommendations
  
• 
  Managing cases independently while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team

What You’ll Bring:
Education (Required):

• 
  Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Human Services, or a related field from an accredited institution (required)
  

Skills & Competencies:

• 
  Strong documentation skills and time management abilities
  
• 
  Ability to problem-solve independently
  
• 
  Experience in conducting home visits and managing cases
  
• 
  Ability to manage high case volumes
  
• 
  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  
• 
  Cultural competency and the ability to work with diverse populations

Additional Requirements:

• 
  Completion of Alabama State Department of Human Resources Orientation
  
• 
  Valid driver’s license and vehicle insurance (Mileage reimbursed!)
  
• 
  Candidates previously employed by AL DHR must have a 2-year separation
  
• 
  Must report directly to county management staff & travel as assigned
