Unit Beds : 18-24

Scrub Color : Navy

EMR System : Cerner (Merge and PowerChart)

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Tennessee RN license (Registered Nurse)

BLS certification required

Minimum 1 year of recent Med / Surg nursing experience (2 years preferred)

Ability to float to other hospital units as needed

Must be able to work every other weekend and holiday as needed

Travel nurses must reside more than 50 miles from the facility

Med / Surg RN Responsibilities

Provide high-quality, compassionate care to medical-surgical patients in a fast-paced hospital setting

Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions using Cerner EMR systems

Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans

Administer medications, treatments, and nursing procedures as prescribed

Educate and support patients and their families throughout the care process

Float to other nursing units as required to support hospital staffing needs

Maintain a safe, clean work environment and adhere to hospital policies and procedures
