The Warehouse Shift Lead plays a key role in overseeing daily warehouse operations within a solar manufacturing facility. This position ensures the efficient flow of materials, maintains inventory accuracy, and upholds safety and quality standards. The Shift Lead will supervise warehouse associates, coordinate shipping and receiving activities, and collaborate with other departments to support production goals.
High school diploma or GED required; associate's degree or relevant certification preferred. 2+ years of experience in warehouse operations, preferably in a manufacturing or solar industry setting. 1+ years of leadership or supervisory experience in a warehouse or logistics role. Proficiency in inventory management systems and basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, WMS, ERP). Forklift certification or willingness to obtain. Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment. All roles require English proficiency. Internal candidates must meet attendance and time-in-service eligibility requirements. Attendance Points: Must be fewer than 3. Time-in-Service: Requirement depends on the current department.
The range for this position is $27.00 hourly rate - $29.00 hourly rate. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.
