Norge Village Laundry Center in Saint Louis, MO is looking for one laundry attendant to join our team. Our ideal candidate is attentive, punctual, and hard-working, performs a variety of laundry duties for clients including but not limited to washing, drying, sorting, and inspecting items. Also will clean the store, mop, wipe, maintain clean surroundings and bathrooms.

Responsibilities

• Provide courteous, friendly customer service by responding promptly and efficiently to inquiries, requests, and complaints.
• Receive customer laundry drop-off, inspects, sorts documents and invoices customer
• Treats stained fabrics according to established procedures.
• Folds and counts linen and places on proper shelves / hangs for storage prior to customer pick up
• Notifies customer of completed laundry as needed and receives payments,
• Maintains cash register drawer, gives accurate change
• Operates the washer and dryer according to established procedures
• Loads washer with the proper amount of linen per procedure to provide for the best efficiency.
• Operates dryer according to established drying temperatures and times per procedure
• Complies with safety / security rules and instructions in performing work efficiently
• Performs other duties as required or assigned.
