Position : Maintenance Technician - Roasting and Packaging Manufacturing Facility

The position we are brewing :

We’re looking for a skilled Maintenance Technician to support a fast-paced roasting and packaging manufacturing facility. This role is critical to keeping our production equipment running safely, efficiently, and at peak performance. If you enjoy hands-on troubleshooting, working with modern manufacturing equipment, and being part of a collaborative team, this is a great opportunity to grow your skills in a dynamic food & beverage environment.

What you will Measure and Blend :

  • Perform daily maintenance, preventive, and predictive maintenance on roasting, grinding, conveys, and packaging equipment
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems to minimize downtime
  • Maintain and repair motors, gearboxes, conveyors, grinders, sealers, weigh-fill systems, palletizers, and related equipment
  • Diagnose and support PLC-controlled systems (Allen-Bradley experience is a plus)
  • Complete work orders, maintenance logs, and documentation accurately and on time
  • Support new equipment installations, upgrades, and continuous improvement projects
  • Partner with production supervisors and operators to prioritize maintenance needs
  • Follow all plant safety requirements, including lockout / tagout, GMPs, and food safety standards
  • Maintain an organized work area and help manage spare parts and maintenance inventory

Your Ingredients :

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 3+ years of industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across mechanical and electrical systems
  • Experience working with pneumatics, hydraulics, bearings, drives, sensors, and motors
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals
  • Working knowledge of basic PLC logic and machine controls
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs., work at heights, and perform physically demanding tasks
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Preferred Experience :

  • Background in food, beverage, or roasting / packaging manufacturing
  • Familiarity with coffee roasting equipment such as Probat or similar
  • Exposure to lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, or reliability programs
