Brentwood has served Louisiana, East Texas and South Arkansas for more than 45 years. We provide quality services to children, adolescents, adults, and seniors. We help individuals and families achieve optimal mental health, resulting in improved quality of life. A dedicated professional team provides individualized treatment, meeting the personal needs of our patients in a safe and nurturing environment.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Completes nursing assessment thoroughly and in a timely manner within facility guidelines. Assessment includes all required screenings and components.

Communicates effectively with physicians and ensures orders are accurate and carried out accordingly.

Accurately documents on treatment plan illustrating patient progress or need for additional problem or intervention identification.

Follows policy and procedure and involves next line of leadership as needed to resolve issues.

Intervenes appropriately in crisis situations .

Qualifications

• Education/Licensure: Graduated from an Accredited Nursing program; Current license to practice nursing in Louisiana or (eligible to receive or renew).
• Experience: Preferred experience working in a psychiatric inpatient setting.
• Hours: Determined by the Chief Nursing Officer
