    We work closely with our customers to create unique flavor elements to ice cream bases and yogurt preps. Many of our ingredients end up in easily recognizable brands on the store shelf as we produce for both international corporations as well as smaller, local brands.  Our Research and Development is done in-house so we get to witness the whole process from ideation to creation.  We support regional trade organizations, source locally when appropriate and help to bring healthy food to people’s tables.

    Warehouse Material Handler

    Department :   Warehouse

    Status : Non-Exempt

    Employee Classification :   Regular Full-time

    Reports To :   Warehouse Manager

    Supervisory Responsibilities :   None

    Shift : Monday through Friday, 7 : 00am to 4 : 00pm

    Job Summary : Responsible for handling, tracking and monitoring raw materials to meet production demands .

    Essential Functions :

  • Maintain organization and sanitation of inventory locations
  • Monitor production schedule and progress
  • Pick and stage raw materials for production
  • Ensure proper temperature and handling of raw materials
  • Document physical movement of goods between inventory locations
  • Communicate issues as they arise
  • Maintain inventory accuracy at multiple inventory locations, including quantity and lot information
  • Cycle counting

  • Order materials from offsite storage based on production need.

    • Ensure proper routing of order materials for production

  • Route finished goods to appropriate storage locations
  • Other tasks as assigned by management

    • Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities :

  • Proficient in forklift operation
  • Proficient in PC skills; ERP / MRP and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Effective time management skills
  • Effective communications skills
  • Team oriented.

    • Working Conditions / Physical Factors :

  • Exposure to wet and / or humid conditions.
  • Worker may be exposed to a loud working environment.
  • Worker may be exposed to hazards in the work place such as proximity to equipment conducting extreme heat, moving parts, and electrical current
  • Must be able to work in environment containing allergens (nuts, milk, wheat, etc.)
  • Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged periods of time
  • Occasionally required to use hands and fingers
  • Frequently required to talk or hear
  • Frequently required to taste and smell
  • Frequently required to lift / push / pull / carry weight up to 65 pounds
  • Exposure to moving mechanical parts
  • Exposure to fumes or airborne particles
