About the Position :

The Design Engineer at PHIL will be creating the initial designs for the off-highway haul truck accessories that PHIL manufactures. This role requires the individual to have an intuitive listening ear for determining customer needs including discussing their equipment specifications, performance expectations, materials to be hauled, and other specific equipment needs. The Design Engineer collaborates with the engineering and production teams at PHIL to design, create, and modify customized products.

Experience Required :

• 1+ years' experience in a similar role designing weldments or steel fabrications required.
• 4-year engineering degree (mechanical, agricultural, mining, or relevant field) required.
• Experience with CAD systems, especially Autodesk Inventor or similar programs required.
• Experience in Microsoft Suite applications required.
• Professional Engineering License preferred; ability to pursue licensing required.
• Experience designing electrical and hydraulic circuits preferred.
• Ability to meet the mental and physical demands of the position with or without reasonable accommodations.
