EHS Supervisor

Supervise a team responsible for creating and implementing health, safety, and environmental programs for clients. This job is part of the Environment Health and Safety function. They are responsible for organizational programs and procedures to safeguard employees and surrounding communities. This is an onsite role Monday-Friday in Indianapolis, IN and start is about 6am. This can also be Monday-Thursday (10-hour days) compressed schedule.

Assist in managing EHS programs and initiatives to meet regulatory requirements and client needs. Evaluate new and existing programs to assess suitability and the need for changes. Support the process for monitoring injury, illness, and incident-related performance. Act as a resource to staff and internal customers as the subject matter expert. Oversee plans, playbooks, and procedures making sure playbooks are current, complete, and effectively implemented. See opportunities to reduce costs while improving the quality of services. Respond to customer member concerns regarding EHS matters. Resolve complex problems and identify appropriate approaches to existing solutions to accomplish team objectives. May establish new techniques to ensure the team is able to meet its objectives. Ensure personal and team outcomes have a positive impact on customer objectives. Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE values. Guide team through the application of basic knowledge of practices and procedures. Work to build consensus.

Required : Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in safety, environmental compliance, or laboratory safety. Multi-site experience managing safety and environmental programs across multiple locations. Preferred : Associate's degree or equivalent experience in Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience). Strong background in environmental and laboratory safety protocols. Familiarity with regulatory standards (OSHA, EPA, and other applicable regulations). Excellent communication and organizational skills for coordinating safety initiatives across diverse teams.
