Job Title : Process Operator Job Description
The Process Operator will work under Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) standards to produce an Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient (API), a digestive enzyme used to treat digestive issues when the pancreas is removed or not functioning properly. The role involves measuring, mixing, and documenting data on production runs, which are controlled by computer panels and systems. The operator will also be responsible for the sanitation of their area, assisting in various production areas, taking samples from batches, and conducting basic pH tests and related tests to ensure the quality of raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products.

Work Environment
The position involves working in a lab setting with computers, control panels, and documentation. The work schedule includes day shifts from 4am to 4pm, with specific shift rotations : one group works every Monday, Tuesday, and alternate Friday, Saturday, Sunday (shift A); the other group works every Wednesday, Thursday, and alternate Friday, Saturday, Sunday. The schedule follows a 2 on, 2 off, 5 on, 5 off pattern. There are openings for the night shifts with a $1.50 differential for the 3rd shift, and an inconvenience incentive of $3 for both shifts. SPL employees are eligible for Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits on day 1 of employment, along with other insurance and retirement contributions. Full-time employees receive 160 hours of vacation and 40 hours of sick time annually, plus 9 paid holidays.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $45936.00 - $56376.00 / yr.
