Position Overview

Washington Tree Services (and our related divisions) is hiring a motivated General Laborer to join our crew. This position is hands-on and fast-paced, supporting daily tree and landscaping operations. You’ll assist with ground support, material handling, site cleanup, and safe equipment use. Key Responsibilities

Assist crew with tree removals, pruning, stump grinding, and landscaping projects.

Load / unload tools, branches, logs, and other debris safely.

Operate hand tools, power tools, and small equipment under supervision.

Maintain safe and clean job sites, including raking, blowing, and hauling materials.

Provide ground support for climbers and equipment operators.

Follow all company safety standards, PPE requirements, and supervisor instructions.

Qualifications

Prior landscaping, construction, or tree service experience preferred (but not required).

Physically able to lift 50+ lbs, bend, kneel, and work on your feet all day.

Comfortable working outdoors year-round in all weather conditions.

Dependable, punctual, and willing to learn new skills.

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required (CDL a plus).
