Traffic Signal Technician
· Proficient in the installation, programming, integration and maintenance of the following typical Traffic components: Detection Systems, Traffic Signals, Edge-Computing Technology, Emergency Vehicle Preemption, Transit Signal Priority, Adaptive Traffic Signal Control, Communications Networks, and Transportation Safety Solutions, Cabinets, UPS
· Proficient with Broward County and Palm Beach County hardware and installation specifications
· Perform the maintenance function for traffic signal controllers and cabinets, and perform basic troubleshooting of both wiring problems in cabinets as well as underground
· Troubleshoot and repair wiring problems in the street, up to and including the replacement of conductors in conduit, test and splice loop detectors in the street.
