Licensed Practical Nurse: Wellness Supervisor

Every other weekend Day/Evening shift LPN position

Job Requirements

• Apassion for helping seniors
• A desire to contribute to a positive atmosphere in the community for residents, family & friends, and all team members
• Ability to communicate effectively in English; both oral and written
• Ability to work every other weekend
• Ability to work effectively as a team

Job Responsibilities

• Developing relationships with residents andtheir families and supporting the physical, spiritual, emotional, and clinicalneeds of the residents
• Communicate needs to and assist resident'sdoctors with medical assessments
• Supervise and motivate Caregivers and Medtechs
• Ability to maintain accurate and legiblerecords such as nurses' notes, incident reports, 24-hour reports and medicationrecords

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved LicensedPractical/Vocational Nursing Program
• Current licensure by the State Board of NurseExaminers
• Geriatric experience preferred but notmandatory
• Experience with electronic medical recordspreferred but not required
• Experience with dementia care preferred but not required
