ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Oxford, North Carolina.

Job Details :

Work in a 27-bed medical and surgical combined ICU unit

Typically assigned 5 patients per shift

Some weekends and holidays required

Self-scheduling model with every other weekend requirement on a 4-week schedule

Orientation consists of 3 shifts - first shift is hospital-wide orientation, followed by 2 shifts working with a unit nurse

Float rotation system in place with potential to float to other units as needed

Required certifications : BLS, ACLS (AHA only)

Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing with current NC RN licensure

IV start skills required

2 years of experience preferred

Travel experience preferred

Work with common patient populations including general surgery, orthopedics, CHF, diabetes, general illness, and sepsis

Unit typically staffed with 3 aids and a unit secretary

EMR system : MEDITECH (experience not required)

Must have 2 supervisory references
