We’re currently looking for a Part-Time Nanny in Wayne, New Jersey (07470, 07474)
A lovely family near Packanack Lake is seeking a Part-Time Nanny for their two children, 6 and 10 years old. Care would be needed Tuesday and Thursday from 3:00pm to 7:00pm, with some nights extending to 8:00pm. There is potential for a third day per week, either Monday or Friday.
The nanny would be responsible for picking up the children from school at 3:20pm, transporting them home, assisting with homework, meals, and after school activities. Ideally, they would be flexible, engaging, and truly enjoy childcare.
- Schedule:
- Tuesday and Thursday: 3:00pm to 7:00pm
- Occasional evenings will extend to 8:00pm
- Occasional Monday or Friday needs with notice
- Start date: ASAP
- Rate: $30 per hour
Responsibilities
- All aspects of childcare for two school aged children, including:
- Transportation from school and to after school activities
- Light meal preparation
- Engage in age appropriate activities inside and outside of the home
- Maintain child's schedules and routines as set by parents
- Communicate effectively with parent regarding child's daily activities, progress, and concerns that may arise
- Assist with homework and school projects as needed
Requirements
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
- 2+ years of paid, professional childcare experience
- Must be able to provide at least two professional childcare references, or references that collectively cover at least two years of professional childcare experience, whichever is greater
- CPR certified or willing to become certified
- Has valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and driver’s insurance
- Must have clean and reliable transportation
- Must be able to successfully clear a background and social media check
Compensation
Position pays $30 per hour and client is looking for a minimum of 8 hours per week.
