As a Senior Logistician, you will be responsible for the strategic oversight and leadership of logistics operations that enable the successful execution of complex modernization efforts. This position is responsible for managing end-to-end supply chain activities, ensuring material readiness, asset accountability, and lifecycle sustainment of equipment critical to the mission. As a Senior Logistician, you will work collaboratively with engineering, procurement, construction, and program management personnel to ensure all logistical operations are aligned with contract performance objectives, and compliance standards. Position will be located at Buckley SFB. This position is contingent upon successful contract award to V2X.

Responsibilities

1. Oversees preparation of procurement requests, equipment orders.
2. Develops manifests, labels, IUID tagging to comply with DoD and DAF policies.
3. Supervises packing, shipping, and labelling of all components for shipment to BAN location.
4. Responsible for contractor-led receipt and acceptance at Program Management offices, intermediary, and USG locations, and warehouse management.
5. Supports all purchasing requests.
6. Responsible for procurement of all supplies and materials.
7. Responsible for logistics support activities (e.g., warehousing, transporting, shipping, tracking, delivering, and staging equipment) of all equipment to individual installation sites.
8. Prepares and evaluates all logistics documentation and operations, including overseas customs documents.
9. Provides logistics technical data support to develop, review, and revise engineering and technical documentation for timely and effective fielding of systems.
10. Manages all aspects of logistics, including inventory, serial number tracking, material fielding, and configuration control.
11. Develops and maintains the Material Fielding Plan, Material Fielding Schedule, and the IUID Plan.
12. Manages the movement of implementation crews and equipment at the implementation site.
13. Evaluates performance results and recommends major changes affecting short-term project growth and success.

• Proficient with writing reports and updating data in MS Excel and Word.

Working Environment

Office environment with potential to support austere locations. Physical Activities: Must be able to lift / carry 100 lbs.

Qualifications

Education / Certifications

• Master's Degree (Preferred); Or
• BA / BS Degree; Or
• High School Diploma or Associate Degree.
• LCL certification preferred but not required.

Experience / Skills

• 7 years with BA / BS degree; Or
• Minimum of 10 years with High School Diploma or Associate Degree performing as a Logistician on large, complex programs.

Clearance Requirement

• This position requires an active Department of Defense (DoD) Secret (Tier 3) level clearance.
