Business/Commercial Litigation Attorney Position Overview: Seeking a Senior Business & Commercial Litigation Attorney with 10+ years of experience to join our team. This role is ideal for an experienced litigator with proven trial experience in complex business disputes. The successful candidate will have strong advocacy skills, the ability to manage cases independently, and the expertise to guide clients through all phases of litigation, from pre-trial strategy to trial and resolution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of complex business and commercial litigation cases
• Conduct legal research and draft high-level pleadings, motions, and briefs
• Take and defend depositions, including expert witness depositions
• Handle all court appearances, including motion hearings, mediations, and settlement conferences
• Lead trial preparation, including drafting trial briefs, jury instructions, and witness preparation
• First-chair trials with confidence and strategic execution
• Develop and implement litigation strategies that align with client goals
• Advise clients on risk assessment, case strategy, and potential outcomes

Qualifications:

• Licensed to practice law in California and in good standing with the State Bar
• 10+ years of experience in business and commercial litigation, including commercial collection
• Trial experience is required with first trial experience preferred
• Strong legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills
• Extensive experience with depositions, discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation
• Ability to manage cases independently and efficiently while meeting deadlines
• Excellent negotiation and client communication skills
• Leadership experience and ability to mentor junior attorneys is a plus
