Controls Engineer

We’re looking for a Controls Engineer to join a growing automation and controls team supporting industrial facilities across the DFW area. This role is a mix of engineering, hands-on troubleshooting, and customer interaction. If you enjoy solving problems in the field and seeing your work make an immediate impact, this role is a great fit.

What You’ll Be Doing

Designing, modifying, and commissioning PLC-based control systems for industrial applications

Troubleshooting control systems in operating facilities and helping customers get back online quickly

Supporting startups, system upgrades, and service calls in the field

Working directly with customers to understand issues and recommend practical solutions

Reviewing electrical drawings and control logic to identify problems and improvements

Managing your own service work and smaller projects from start to finish

Following safety procedures and maintaining a clean, professional job site

What We’re Looking For

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Engineering Technology, or similar (or equivalent hands-on experience)

5+ years of experience working with industrial automation and control systems

Strong troubleshooting skills — especially in live production environments

Ability to read electrical schematics and understand control system architecture

Comfortable working independently in the field and communicating directly with customers

Willingness to travel locally within the DFW area and respond to occasional urgent calls

Bonus Experience

PLC programming experience (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or similar platforms)

HMI development or modification

Industrial networking and communications

Control panel hardware and field instrumentation
