Position Overview

Sampson Regional Medical Center, an independent, community-based hospital , is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible OB / GYN physician to join Sampson Women's Center , a well-established, hospital-owned practice in Clinton, North Carolina .

This is an exciting opportunity to join a collegial team that provides comprehensive women's healthcare to a welcoming, growing community. The incoming physician will work alongside one other OB / GYN and collaborate with a strong network of specialists and hospital leadership who value teamwork and patient-centered care.

Work Schedule & Practice Details

Schedule : Full-time position with a flexible workweek designed to balance clinic, call, and surgical responsibilities.

Call : Shared call rotation (7 days / month, including 1 weekend)

Combined Clinic Volume : 25-35 patients / day

OB vs. GYN Mix : ~80% OB / 20% GYN

Deliveries : ~27 per month, with ~11 C-sections monthly

Procedures : GYN laparoscopic experience required (robotic surgery not available)

Sampson Regional Medical Center, located in Clinton, NC, has served its community since 1950 and is one of only a handful of independent, community-based hospitals remaining in North Carolina. Accredited by DNV, the 146-bed health system offers a wide range of medical services, including acute care, outpatient surgery, emergency and critical care, women's health, and children's services.
