Technical Data Analyst

Location : New York City (Hybrid 3-Day Onsite)

Duration : 1 year (with potential to extend)

Job Description :

We are seeking a skilled Technical Data Analyst with a strong data background to support a financial services implementation. The ideal candidate will work closely with technical teams to build integration and interface specifications develop data models and contribute to both functional and non-functional requirements gathering.

Required Skills & Experience :

  • Strong data background with experience in SQL and data modeling.
  • Experience working closely with technical teams.
  • Proven experience in building integration and interface specifications.
  • Experience in functional and non-functional requirements gathering.
  • Experience in financial services implementations.
  • Technical user story writing experience in Agile / Jira environments.
  • Experience with Collibra data dictionaries or data documentation tools.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Collaborate with technical teams to design and implement integration and interface specifications.
  • Develop and maintain data models using strong SQL skills.
  • Gather and document functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Write technical user stories in Agile environments using Jira.
  • Contribute to Collibra / Data Dictionary efforts and maintain data documentation.
  • Support financial services implementation projects with data expertise.
